Has it finally happened? Have there been so many auctions so heavily loaded with Porsches over the past decade that there are very few left to sell? That certainly appears as one explanation for the “Nothing to see here, ladies and gentlemen, please move along” consignment lists that have come from Bonhams, Gooding and Company, and RM Sothebys. Between these three, you’ll find just 47 automobiles offered for sale. In past years that number might have been 25-to-50 percent greater.
We’ll watch and monitor the auctions as we usually do, and present you the results for Arizona and a preview for Amelia Island in our next edition.
