Bonhams, Gooding and Company, and RM Sotheby's are offering quite an array of Porsches across the Monterey Peninsula. They range from the very earliest one—the Typ 64 (ex-Ferdinand Porsche at RM)—through a good assortment of 1950s and 1960s 356s, a number of early 911s and 912s, a few 1970s-era Turbos up through the first 959 Sport legally imported (ex-Otis Chandler at Gooding) right up through 1990s GT2s, 2000s GT2s and GT3s, a 2018 Weissach edition (at Bonhams) and simply sensational racing cars at all three venues. It is very clear across the spectrum of all marques that there is a wealth of options available to collectors at this year’s auctions.
