The 1963 Porsche 356 T6 B coupe you see here is truly special, not because a T6 coupe was rare but because of the overall condition, options and paperwork. I would describe its condition as a “very tidy driver.” The exterior black paint was applied over 20 years ago and remains very good. The red interior was redone at that time and also remains in excellent condition. The car is equipped with side spears, chrome wheels, and chrome outside mirror. While those options aren’t mind-blowing (except for maybe the side spears), the fact that we have the original window sticker stating those were options on this car is amazing!

L. Cannon Motors in Asheville, NC, sold the car new on June 4, 1963, and it remained in town for more than 35 years. The paper trail starts with that window sticker, the bill of sale, the first registration, a letter from the dealer and Porsche, and detailed description of the services completed. The original owner sold the car in 1994 to the next owner. North Carolina cars are known for lack of rust and this is no exception. It simply was coveted its entire life. The car headed for New England in 2001 or so, and eventually it made it full circle back home to N.C. Welcome home!
